MEH is seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time Software Developer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications, dashboards, data solutions, and enterprise technology platforms.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Software Developer will support MEH project teams by developing, enhancing, and maintaining software applications that support client business and operational requirements.

This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys working on diverse projects, solving complex problems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and creating technology solutions that have measurable impact.

The successful candidate will contribute to software development activities including application design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, system enhancements, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and software solutions.
• Build user-friendly interfaces and backend services that support business processes.
• Develop custom applications, dashboards, workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot application issues and implement technical solutions.
• Support software enhancements based on client feedback and evolving requirements.

Application & System Development

• Participate in requirements gathering and technical planning sessions.
• Translate business requirements into functional technical solutions.
• Support application architecture, database design, and system integrations.
• Develop APIs and integrations between platforms.
• Assist with cloud-based application development and deployment.
• Support configuration and customization of enterprise platforms.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify and resolve software defects.
• Validate application functionality and performance.
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.

Collaboration & Technical Support

• Collaborate with project managers, analysts, designers, and client stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning and status meetings.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions.
• Assist with documentation including system requirements, workflows, and user guides.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience developing web-based applications and software solutions.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
